Ban the Junk Food Ads

The Walt Disney Company, in a first for a US media giant, has said it will ban junk food advertising on its TV channels and websites from 2015 to help fight obesity among US children.

Interesting thing about this is when you visit Disneyland, the amount of junk food available is enormous. If the Disney organisation was serious why wouldn’t they ban all junk food in their parks?

If you’ve been to Disneyworld were you surprised at the amount of junk food outlets and things like giant turkey drumsticks and heaps of gravy available?

Should we follow suit and look at similar bans in Australia?

Social Networks Are Ruling Our Lives

Aussies love to embrace new technology. Baby boomers have seen so man changes from calculators, ATMs, computers, mobile phones the list goes on. Keeping P Platers Alcohol Free

Young drivers are not going to like this but Victoria's top traffic cop thinks they should be motoring around with a P-plate until they are 25 years old. With statistics to back him up, Assistant Commissioner Robert Hill told Fairfax Media that such a drastic move would help cut the state's road toll.
