Labor Candidate for Goulburn Michael Pilbrow has made his final pitch to voters ahead of tomorrow’s state election.
He was joined by party leader Chris Minns in Yass to make another road funding commitment, which will including funding for the Wingecarribee Shire .
“Across the whole electorate we’re pledging a further $13.8 million dollars for emergency road repairs,
“It’s the number one issue we’ve been hearing about while speaking with residents,”Mr. Pilbrow said.
Labor claims independent costings show the Liberals and National won’t be taking any action on regional roads for two years
Meantime Opposition leader Chris Minns said there are number of reasons why we need to look after our roads.
“It’s obviously important in terms of safety and keeping the road toll down,
“It’s also really important in terms of the economy, so transport and logistic businesses can get around,”Mr. Minns said.
