Mollymook SLSC (MSLSC) is hosting it's the annual Mollymook Ocean Swim on Saturday 11 May 2024. This event will showcase our beautiful and most picturesque Mollymook Beach to which we will be offering 3 Events on the day: • 500m Junior and Novice Ocean Swim (open to Juniors between the ages of 10 to 12, as well as ‘Novice’ ocean swimmers who are 13 years old and over). • 2.2 km Ocean Swim (open to 13 years and over. This event also includes “Back of the Pack” swimmers who choose to wear or utilise flippers, kickboards, masks, snorkels etc to assist them with completing the course). • 250m Dash for Cash Swim (open to all entrants who participated in either the 2.2 km or 500m events). Prizes: • 500m Junior & Novice Ocean Swim - Prizes or Vouchers for 1st & 2nd Female & Male Placegetters of each age group (10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs & Novice (13yrs and over)). • 2.2km Ocean Swim - $500 each for the 1st Female & Male, Prizes or Vouchers for the 1st & 2nd Female & Male Placegetters of each age group (13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Over). • Dash for Cash - $100 each for the 1st Female & Male. • Also Various Registration “SPOT” Prizes. Registration: • On-line at www.oceanswims.com. Note that online entries close at 4pm Fri 10 May 24. • In person (as a Late Entry) at MSLSC on Fri 10th May 24 between 4pm to 6pm. • In person (as a Late Entry) at MSLSC on Sat 11 May 24 between 7:30am to 8:45am. • Note an additional $10 fee will apply for all Late Entries. Credit Card payment available. Entry Fees & Inclusions: • 2.2 km Ocean Swim= $50. • Junior/Novice 500m = $30. • Note an additional $10 fee will apply for all Late Entries. • Inclusions = Entry fee, Swim Cap, Watermelon at finish line, sausage sandwich & drink voucher (redeemable after the swim at the catering van) and entry into the “Dash for Cash”. Race Timings & Courses: • 9:00am - 500m Junior and Novice Ocean Swim will start and finish at the southern end of Mollymook Beach in front of the Surf Club. The course is “U-shaped” with two buoys to be passed on the seaward side. • 10:30am - 2.2km Ocean Swim will start at the Northern end of the Mollymook Beach and finish in front of the Surf Club at the Southern end. The swim is a one-way course with competitors required to finish the swim at the finish chute. • 11:30am - 250m Dash for Cash Swim will start and finish at the southern end of Mollymook Beach in front of the Surf Club. The course is “U-shaped” with two buoys to be passed on the seaward side. • 12:30pm (Approx) Presentations • 12:30pm onwards Mollymook Surf Club Bar Open, Food Vans and Live Music.

The Annesley Lifestyle Centre is a premium centre exclusively for the over 55 population located within the Annesley Bowral Retirement Village. The Centre boasts a flat bottomed indoor pool which is ideal for pool walking, physio prescribed rehabilitation exercises and aqua aerobics. It has a fully equipped gymnasium and a personal trainer on staff to design individual programs and assist members with equipment use. The Centre also has a wide variety of group fitness classes - including aqua aerobics, pilates, tai chi, stretch, healthy hearts, yoga and chair yoga.

Go4fun is a FREE 10 week program for children aged 7-13 years and their families run by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. Children play fun games each week and learn about healthy eating. Receive lots of goodies including handballs, skipping ropes and recipe books. Encore Support is a family and disability support service with a passion for supporting the wellbeing, mental health and inclusion of all community members. We currently run Wellness Wednesday, meeting at 10am each week, for friendship, fresh air and connection. The program is open to all community members who feel they would benefit from getting out and meeting new people. Come by yourself, with your family, a support worker, or we can provide support for you. No one needs to feel alone.

Fabulous work done in the local area for health, education, youth programs, disaster relief and the environment as well as supporting national and international initiatives.
