Residents out towards Wombeyan Caves in the Southern Highlands can now breathe a sigh of relief.
Firefighters have now contained the Craig’s Road fire which was burning in the Upper Lachlan Shire.
More favourable weather conditions have helped with the situation.

The blaze has burnt out more than 4400 hectares.
Over the coming days crews will continue to reinforce containment lines and keep an eye out for any hot spots.
