Glow Worm Glen back open to the public

The National Parks and Wildlife Service has re-opened Glow Worm Glen at Bundanoon.

The viewing platform and steps were severely damaged by the Black Summer bushfires.

Area Manager Graham Bush is thanking local residents for their patience.

“We had to use helicopters to fly all the materials in and out,

“Then we had the rain events last year, that slowed things up and also it’s been difficult to get contractors.

“So all those three things have taken a lot longer than we would’ve hoped,”Mr. Bush said.

National Parks is now expecting plenty of more visitors to the area.
