Commuting across Bowral is now easier with the re opening of the Mittagong creek Bridge on Merrigang Street.
The new and improved bridge is a similar width to the original design, measuring 10.7 metres across.
Project Manager, Ned Tripkovic said the old bridge required extensive repairs and needed a complete rebuild.

“We know the community will be very happy to have the much needed upgrades to the bridge completed, being a major thoroughfare for many locals and visitors”

needed to be completely rebuilt. Taking on this significant project was no easy feat, but
it has now been successfully completed” he said.
