RFS mission to save Milo

Shoalhaven Heads RFS volunteers were responded to an animal rescue on the Shoalhaven River foreshore on Sunday 17 Nov 2024.

Milo the Dachshund found himself a little too adventurous and became stuck under the eroded rootball of a riverside banksia.

#NSWRFS firefighters used a reciprocating saw, thermal imaging camera and shovels tools to successfully locate and reunite Milo with his eagerly awaiting family.
