Shoalhaven Council is enticing aviation industries to relocate to the region in a move that will boost Council’s financial bottom line.
There are now 15 proposed lots on offer in the Albatross Aviation Technology Park (AATP) land release.
Albatross Aviation Technology Park is a growing hub of aircraft maintenance and advanced manufacturing related enterprises, with close linkages to the South Nowra industrial estate, the Princes Highway, and Jervis Bay.
Positioned at the heart of Australia’s growing aerospace and defence sectors, AATP presents a unique opportunity for businesses to establish themselves in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
Many lots have direct taxiway frontage and access, however access via the taxiway to the HMAS Albatross base and airfield is subject to strict approval from the Royal Australian Navy and does not form any part of this EOI, or the future land sales contract.
This new land release is 14 proposed lots in Lot 22 DP 1194689 and Lot 16 DP1094151, varying in size, tailored for a wide range of aviation-related uses, including manufacturing, research, development, technology and supporting services to AATP.
Expressions of Interest are now open for the lots, with all submissions to be received by 17 January, 2025. Due to the specialised nature of AATP, only EOIs from businesses or organisations in the aviation, advanced manufacturing, defence industry, and related education/training sectors will be considered.
EOIs that propose to provide other supporting services to AATP , for example, childcare and cafes will also be considered.
