The Albanese Labor Government is investing $27.5 million to support Harbison Burradoo in building a new residential care facility, providing 72 new aged care places for residents in Whitlam.

The new Harbison facility is among 52 infrastructure projects funded through Aged Care Capital Assistance Program (ACCAP) Round 2. This development will expand access to quality dementia, respite, palliative, and aged care services in the Southern Highlands region.

The $250 million investment in Round 2 of the ACCAP aims to improve existing or construct new aged care homes in regional areas.

This investment follows $134.9 million provided in Round 1 of the ACCAP, which supported 76 infrastructure projects, primarily in rural and remote areas.
