Southern Cross Housing (SCH) and the Shoalhaven Anti-Poverty Committee (SAPC) are thrilled to invite you to the East Nowra Neighbour hood Party on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, from 10am to 1pm at the park on Parramatta Street, East Nowra.
This free event is a fantastic opportunity for the East Nowra community and surrounding suburbs to come together and celebrate. Enjoy a variety of activities for kids, a free BBQ, tea and coffee, face painting, and live performances.
Community organisations will be on hand to provide valuable information and resources about the services and support they offer. Shane Meijer, General Manager of Housing Services at SCH, shared his excitement: “We are very excited to join forces with the Shoalhaven Anti-Poverty Committee to deliver this special event. It’s a great opportunity to bring families together to celebrate with a sausage sizzle, some entertainment, and the chance to meet local service providers.
Following last year’s success, SCH is delighted to collaborate with SAPC and the broader community to host the East Nowra Neighbourhood Party. Local partners participating include Shoalcoast Community Legal Centre, TAFE NSW, University of Wollongong and Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services.
