Barry Humphries has been farewelled at a private funeral in Bowral.
The gathering was held at Hopewood House yesterday which is owned by renowned artist and long term friend Tim Storrier.
Mr. Storrier once painted a large portrait of Sir Les Patterson, who was a character created by Mr. Humphries.

It’s now been revealed Mr. Humphries was battling a rare skin cancer.
The family have been offered a State Funeral by the Victorian Government.
