Do you know someone who has shown exceptional dedication to our community through their contributions or achievements in volunteer work, education, environmental care, arts and culture, sport, or humanitarian initiatives?
Wingecarribee Council is calling on the community to acknowledge these community members with nominations for the Citizen of the Year or Young Citizen of the Year awards.
The Wingecarribee Shire Council Citizen of the Year Awards are more than just recognition; they’re a celebration of the extraordinary individuals who are actively shaping our community.
Award Categories
- Citizen of the Year: Honouring individuals who have made an extraordinary
contribution to the Wingecarribee Shire community. - Young Citizen of the Year: Recognising exceptional achievements by young
people aged 16-30.
Mayor Jesse Fitzpatrick is encouraging the community to recognise and celebrate those outstanding individuals who make a difference.
“Show your thanks and make a nomination. The Wingecarribee Shire is fortunate to have such dedicated and inspiring residents,” Mayor Fitzpatrick said.
