If you don’t already have a bushfire survival plan — you’re being urged to make one!
That’s the advice from the NSW Rural Fire Service as bushfire season is approaching.
It also comes after a grass fire broke out at Canyonleigh Road over the weekend.

Eight fire trucks responded, with the blaze extinguished in an hour.
It burnt out around six hectares.
The Service’s James Morris said to make sure everyone in your family know what to do in an emergency.
“One of the biggest issues is what you’ll do if you’re at work and the kids are at home,
“What if the roads get cut off,”Mr. Morris said.
