Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Hume Highway near the Drapers Road overpass for road repairs.
One lane will be closed in each direction from 7am to 5pm weekdays, between19-23 and 26-30 August. A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours, and 80 km/h outside of work hours.
From 1-12 September a single lane closure will be in place northbound with a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h the duration of the closure.
Heavy vehicles wider than 3.8 meters will be required to contact traffic control on the number provided on VMS or UHF channel 21, when approaching the work site.
Motorists are advised to follow the directions of traffic control and should allow up to five minutes of additional travel time.
