A Minns Labor government is promising a 2 million dollar spend on the Moss Vale Fire Station to improve facilities for firefighters and emergency response for the area.
It’ll provide shower and amenities for its female firies.
The dollars will also upgrade the station’s decontamination facilities, making it quicker for firefighters to decontaminate after an incident and be available for the next fire call.
Labor’s Micheal Pilbrow said the upgrade will improve safety for firies and the entire community.
“Labor’s commitment to upgrade FRNSW Moss Vale Station is part of our Fresh Start Plan for the Southern Highlands,”
“It’s about supporting our essential workers, like nurses, paramedics, teachers and firefighters who all contribute so much to our communities.”Mr. Pilbrow said.
