About 8.30am (Wednesday 15 November 2023), emergency services were called to the Hume Motorway at Woodlands, after reports of a crash involving a tilt tray truck and a vehicle.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and located a utility and a tilt tray truck that had collided.
The passenger of the utility, a 24-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for head injuries, before being airlifted to Liverpool Hospital.
The driver of the utility, a 16-year-old Learner Driver man, was also treated on scene for minor injuries, before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
The tilt tray truck driver, a 28-year-old man, was also treated on scene for minor injuries and taken to Bowral Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officer established a crime scene and with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
