Motorists are advised of night closures on Moss Vale Road at Barrengarry Mountain from next week for routine maintenance work.
Work will include road resurfacing, clearing drains, vegetation management and drainage installation to reduce the risk of future land slips.
Moss Vale Road will be closed in both directions between Bunkers Hill Road and Myra Vale Road, between 8pm and 4am, Sunday to Thursday nights from Sunday 9 to Thursday 20 February, weather permitting.
Detours will be in place via the Illawarra Highway, Macquarie Pass and the Princes Highway.
Motorists are advised to allow 80 minutes additional travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Residential access within the closure area will be maintained at all times under the direction of traffic control.
