The mother of a missing teenager is convinced Ivan Milat was responsible for her death.
16 year old Debbie Ashby was last seen leaving her home at Leumeah in October 1987.

“The Belanglo State Forest was his killing fields and that’s what Debbies’s mother Mary tells me in the Missing Podcast,
“She said that when they started finding bodies, she was convinced that they would find her daughter,Mr. Caroutas said.
At the time of Debbie’s disappearance, Milat was living in Eagle Vale, which was a 10 minute drive from Leumeah.
Mary attended the vigil for the two English backpackers.
