Station Street in Bowral has been re-opened to traffic this morning.
In addition to this, the Wingecarribee Street bridge overpass connection to Kirkham Road will also reopen.
Director of Service and Project Delivery, Karin Targa said favourable weather conditions and evening work have helped fast track the completion – two weeks ahead of schedule.
However parking lanes along the length of Station Street will remain temporarily closed to enable work crews to complete the footpath and driveway improvement works.
After the Easter break, Council will temporarily close the road overnight to enable final asphalt wear and line-marking work.
Contractors will also start work within the northern commuter car park at Bowral Train Station.
