A Moss Vale local, who just took out a prestigious TAFE NSW award, is encouraging school leavers to consider a trade.
20 year old Jasper Murphy was awarded the Apprentice of the Year title at the TAFE NSW Excellence Awards in Wollongong.
Jasper currently works for Bong Bong Engineering in the Highlands.

He said it’s opened up plenty of new doors.
“I reckon young people should definitely get into it,
“The skills you pick up, you’ll have for life,”Mr. Murphy said.
