Trains are not running between Moss Vale and Campbelltown on the Southern Highlands Line due to an issue with a freight train at Yerrinbool.
Replacement buses have been requested but are not yet on site.
Commuters are being asked to delay their trips or allow plenty of extra travel time.

Below is a statement from the Australian Rail Track Corporation:
“At around 1510 this afternoon we were advised by the crew that a train had shutdown at Yerrinbool, NSW.
“The train crew were unable to restart the train and an engineer was due to arrive on site at 1730 local time to assess the situation.
“As a result of the train being shutdown, up-direction freight services are being held at various locations.”
