There’s a new weapon in the fight against the honey bee killing Varroa Mite.
A permit has been granted for use by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority of Api-Bioxal, containing the active ingredient oxalic acid.
National Varroa Coordinator Tamara Prentice said the permit provides another treatment option against Varroa mite.

Varroa Mite has recently been reported around the Culburra Beach area by amateur BeeKeepers.
