Work crews has begun a clean-up along Yalwall Road where six piles of asbestos has been left for the last two weeks.
Shoalhaven Council workers did an initial clean-up after the deadly asbestos was dumped by some-one roadside , but it was left there covered with plastic and cordoned off with tape.
A Council spokesperson said earlier this week it has contracted a certified specialist to remove, transport and dispose of the asbestos today.
