A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a serious collision with a vehicle on the Princes Highway near Berry north of Nowra.
NSW Police report the accident happened at about 8.15am at Broughton Village about seven kilometres from Berry.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the male cyclists who is believed to be aged in his 40’s was treated at the scene by Paramedic crews for suspected back and leg injuries.
He has been airlifted by the Toll Ambulance helicopter to Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
The north bound lanes of the Princes Highway according to Police are closed and traffic is being diverted around the scene.
Long traffic delays are expected and motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
