The driver of the ute that allegedly ran over two men in Nowra overnight has been granted conditional bail after appearing in Nowra local court today.
The man was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, negligent driving (occasioning death) and driving with middle-range prescribed concentration of alcohol.
The man was charged after emergency services were called to Condie Crescent yesterday evening and found two men critically injured.
Police were told the men were lying on the road when they were run over by a utility.
By-standers rendered first aid until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived; however, both men died at the scene.
The accused appeared in court alongside his brother and sister.
He was bailed to reappear in court on the 9th of August.
