Residents and visitors to the Shoalhaven are being invited to provide feedback on how they use several community facilities in key holiday hotspots and a range of other locations, as part of a wider review of Council’s open spaces and community facilities.
The consultation will help Council to gather important seasonal data and information about community satisfaction with parks, and sporting facilities.
To capture seasonal variability, some of the selected sample sites were included in a previous survey, undertaken in May.
The data captured through each of the surveys will be used to help inform Council’s Community Infrastructure Strategic Plan (CISP).
The CISP aims to provide recommendations for how the city’s 637 open spaces and community facilities will be managed into the future.
The CISP is currently under review and once complete, it will establish a 30-year vision for the facilities to help guide Council’s short, medium and long-term planning and investment.
The community is now encouraged to have a say about their use of the below sample facilities via an online survey until 31 January 2025.
