Parliamentary Secretary and Member for South Coast Shelley Hancock announced funding has been secured for innovative sustainability projects at four schools across the South Coast.
The $10 million NSW Liberal and Nationals Government Sustainable Schools Grants Program supports students to develop sustainability projects with grants of up to $15,000 for student-lead initiatives that help improve the environment at their schools.
Schools being supported by a grant are;
Cambewarra Public School – Cambe Community Kitchen $7,000
Havenlee School – Havenlee Sustainable Habits $12,950
Kiama Public School – Bee Inspired $14,600
Tomerong Public School – Waste Wizards project $14,625
