A video of a large bull shark feeding about a metre off rocks on the state’s South Coast is doing the rounds on social media today.
Greenwell Point locals shared the footage online to a Shoalhaven Community Facebook page yesterday.
Meanwhile further south, Department of Primary Industries Fisheries has advised a tagged shark was detected by Sussex Inlet receiver around 8.30am on Tuesday 28 February 2023.
The White Shark was last detected around 5.30am on 14 November 2022 by Redhead receiver.
It was originally tagged and released on 9 September 2022 at Shelley Beach, Port Macquarie.
Sussex Inlet Surf Life Saving Club said the shark does not pose any danger to swimmers.
