Billionaire boss of Tesla Elon Musk has just made a cool million dollars by selling a perfume called Burnt Hair.
It sounds like a joke but it’s very real, with the stinky scent going for $162 Australian on his product website The Boring Company.

Elon has described it in a Tweet as the “finest fragrance on Earth”, with the product listing on the website saying it’s “the essence of repugnant desire”.
No word on what that desire relates to, or whether it’s based an actual hair burning experience haunting Musk (maybe while testing one of his rockets?). But he’s sure having fun with his new venture, changing his Twitter bio to “perfume salesman” and joking that he can’t believe he didn’t do it sooner given his surname.

With a name like mine, getting into the fragrance business was inevitable – why did I even fight it for so long!?

Doesn’t get more lit than this!

The perfume is set to ship in early 2023, so we’ll have to wait to find out if anyone actually wears it. We’re hoping most people are buying it for the novelty factor?
Lemme get a whiff of that. I have childhood trauma of that smell one time my sister’s hair went up in flames from a candle. Nothing more flammable that hair with hair products

Hoping it doesn’t actually smell like burnt hair…

But there seems to be a market for other types of scents.
At this point he could bottle his sweat and farts.

Of course, Musk’s perfume reminds us of Gwyneth Paltrow’s questionably scented ‘vagina candle’ that she’s been selling on her Goop website for US$75 (sorry to say, it doesn’t ship to Australia).

Sounds like they need to pair up for the perfect home smell!
