Amazon MGM Studios just dropped the first trailer for The Accountant 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2016 action-thriller. Hitting cinemas April 25th, it’s got everything we loved about the first—plus more action, twists, and drama.
Ben Affleck returns as Christian Wolff, the math genius with a penchant for danger, alongside Jon Bernthal (as his badass brother, Brax), Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and J.K. Simmons. Directed by Gavin O’Connor and written by Bill Dubuque, the sequel pairs Christian and Brax as they team up with Deputy Director Marybeth Medina to unravel a deadly conspiracy after an old acquaintance is mysteriously murdered.
Expect cryptic clues, extreme measures, and a killer network of assassins hunting them down. Oh, and look out for new cast additions Daniella Pineda and Allison Robertson.
